Margaret Woodhouse is the author of over 40 titles. Ranging from humour to children's to fiction, her books include the best-selling Know Your Cat's Purr Points (for which Miu Sakamoto composed music to accompany the Japanese edition) and her satirical take on Westminster politics, children's title Jim Bleat for Prime Minister, which, when published, attracted surprisingly earnest political debate on BBC 2's Newsnight.
